Zeca Baleiro, nome artístico de José Ribamar Coelho Santos, (São Luís, 11 de abril de 1966) é um cantor, compositor e músico brasileiro de MPB. Transferiu-se para São Paulo onde lançou sua carreira. Zeca Baleiro canta, toca violão e já teve suas composições interpretadas por Simone, Gal Costa, Vange Milliet, Adriana Maciel, Luíza Pozzi, Rita Ribeiro, Renato Braz, Charlie Brown Jr(participando inclusive do acútico MTV da banda em 2003, interpretando a musica proibida pra mim), O Rappa, Babado Novo. Carreira Musical Apesar de sua carreira musical já existir 12 anos antes de gravar seu primeiro disco em 1997, seu salto para a fama foi em sua participação no Acústico MTV de Gal Costa com a canção "A Flor da Pele", no qual alcançou projeção nacional. Nos anos seguintes gravou mais cinco discos com participação de outros cantores do Brasil, muitos dos quais são seus parceiro em composições como: Chico César, Rita Ribeiro, Lobão, Arnaldo Antunes, Zé Geraldo, Paulinho Moska, Lenine, Fagner, Zeca Pagodinho e Zé Ramalho. Sua música deriva de muitos ritmos tradicionais brasileiros: samba, pagode, baião com elementos do rock, pop e música eletrônica com um modo muito particular de tocar violão. Suas letras contém de forma inteligente humor e poesia.
